Has Phishing Attack Struck Google's Gmail?

Looks like a phishing attack has struck Google's mailing service Gmail. A phishing mail masked as an official mail from the Gmail Team asks users to update their account details for security reasons, reported The Times of India. These details included account name, password, occupation, birth date and country of residence. The note also stated that those who would not update their details within 7 days of receiving the warning, would lose their account permanently.

Hackers steal the user login credentials of those who fall for this and then scan the mail account for banking details. Just to be clear, Google had made the HTTPS access default for the Gmail users for security of the mail.

On this, a Google spokesperson responded, "Some spammers send fraudulent mass-messages designed to collect personal information, called 'spoofing' or 'password phishing'. We always advise our users to be wary of any message that asks for your personal information, or messages that refer you to a webpage asking for personal information. Google or Gmail does not send unsolicited mass messages asking for passwords or personal information; even if the message asking for it claims to be from us, please don't believe it." More information about mails asking to update personal information can be found here.

Google can't do much about curious users who click on phishing mails and end up sharing personal credentials to hackers. For rest, Google has introduced default secured access to Gmail and also good spam filters. Do note that Gmail asks only once for your personal details at the time of registration.

EVE TEASING.....A Social Crime............

EVE-TEASING IS a rampant social evil that the women is facing today......
It is everywhere in India — beaches, roads, cinema halls, buses and sadly even in educational institutions. When eve-teasing persists even inside educational institutions, one can obviously infer that even the educated youth don't necessarily desist from indulging in this uncouth behaviour. The issue always surfaces when something prominent happens....
Public memory happens to be short and soon things return to the usual anarchy and we accept the fact that `nothing much can be done.'
Eve-teasing is not a victimless crime as it appears on paper. It has resulted in deaths, and when it goes unchecked could lead to public humiliation of women even in broad daylight. The rape of a medical student in Delhi in the recent past shocked the whole nation. Eve-teasing also portrays a bad image of the country among tourists. The immeasurable damage to a woman's self-esteem and the subsequent avoidance of public places by single women could hardly take us on the way to achieving gender equality.

I think mostly the girls rather thn women folk are the victims of eve teasing .......
Not even a single day occurs where girls can travel in bus without push or pinch frm men...
The main thing is tht these women including me is not responding to this type of harresments frm men...

We need to respond to all these type of behaviour frm men..Im not including all the men folk in the country bt there are some gr of men who are entring into buses for dng this thing only....

Every action is performed with an intention. The intention behind eve-teasing is: to catch a girl's eye and to arouse attention in some way; and more importantly this harassment is an early manifestation of patriarchal masculinity.

Eve-teasing is not just a college girl's problem. It leads to insecurity for parents or to even anyone who's loved one undergoes this. This unwelcome masculine attention on women subjects them to an unimaginable sexual pressure. Tucking this issue under the carpet is not a solution. A civilised society cannot afford to ignore such an issue. Eve-teasing deserves to be tackled actively. Eradicating eve-teasing will help women access public places fearlessly and will further gender equality in India

Smoking Kills................

Tobacco smoking is the practice where tobacco is burned and the vapors either tasted or inhaled. Smoking is the most common method of consuming tobacco, and tobacco is the most common substance smoked. Many smokers begin during adolescence or early adulthood. During the early stages, smoking provides pleasurable sensations and thus serves as a source of positive reinforcement. After an individual has smoked for many years, the avoidance of withdrawal symptoms andnegative reinforcement become the key motivations.

Apart from smoking, tobacco had a number of uses as medicine. As a pain killer it was used for earache and toothache and occasionally as a poultice.
Smoking was said by the desert Indians to be a cure for colds, especially if the tobacco was mixed with the leaves of the small Desert Sage or the root of Indian Balsam or Cough Root, Leptotaenia multifida, the addition of which was thought to be particularly good for asthma and tuberculosis.
Lets hav a luk into the side effects of smoking in our body....
Smoking affects almost all parts of our body ,even the hairs...

oking effects on your body.

Logo of the World No Tobacco Day

So dear frds as youall have read you can c wat all r the side effects of smoking....

I have heard the story of a chain smoker frm one of my lectures...He was a chain smoker and he used to smoke atleast 50-100 cigaretes a day.Fortunately he once had a
meeting with one of the greatest doctor. The man told the doctor tht he was desperate to give up the habit of smoking .The main thng tht he told is tht he used to start shivering once he doesnt smoke. The only prescription tht the doctor told the man was to take bananas whenever he shivers.

The result was amazing ....
The man gav up the habit of smoking after 1 year..I thnk so...
Nt only tht the man's character had also changed a lot...
The man became strengther thn he once was...

Smoking not only damages the organs as were explained earlier bt also makes a huge change in the character of people..
An other type of smoking is passive smokig..
In INDIA women seldom smokes.Bt we can see tht there is cancer in women too .The main reason for this is passive smoking...
So frds if my article needs to be complete atleast any one of u who reads this article should take the promise tht u will giv up smoking if ur a smoker also tht u wont smoke .....U can try ur own ways to stop smoking....

Bye frds....

31st May is very significant for the anti-smoking effort worldwide as it has been declared as the World No Tobacco Day by the WHO.

Chicken a la Carte by Ferdinand Dimadura

Dear frds kindly spare 6 min to watch this short film...
Its not gng to be a wastge of time for u...

This film is about the hunger and poverty brought about by Globalization. There are 10,000 people dying everyday due to hunger and malnutrition. This short film shows a forgotten portion of the society. The people who live on the refuse of men to survive. What is inspiring is the hope and spirituality that never left this people.
Chicken A La Carte is an inspiring short film by Ferdinand Dimadura, produced in 2005.

How fortunate most of us are, to have food served readily on our tables hot from the stove. And yet some of us have often taken the food for granted. We have so often reminded our young ones to be grateful for the food served to them and yet we are guilty of taking our food for granted at time.

We used to waste lots of food in restaurant tht time we r really not aware or pretending tht we r not aware abt these people who are really starving in this world.. There we thnk tht its our money and it doesnt makes any difference to all the hungry people in the world..............

Bt Chicken a la Carte showed us how those waste fud can make change to 100's in the world.....

Finishing up all the food on the table would not make a difference to all the hungry people in the world and forcing all the food down would not be good for health too. What else could her friend have done? What can we have done?

In doing that, we do not waste food and we do not do harm to our healths by over eating. I know, we still wouldn’t make a difference to all the hungry people in the world, but this is the first step. What’s next? Let us start from around us?

This short film indeed needs to be watched by everyone especially the young gen of the world as this is an eye opening to everyone.......

LEAD INDIA.....

Hai frds lets spare some minutes to watch these videos...

lets spare some time for this video too..

So frds i hope you all saw how this little fellow has inspired others ........

The LEAD INDIA CAMPAIGN has started as a part of the largest democracy election in the world.....
When the world's largest democracy picks a leader, it's only natural for interest levels to peak.
The point of the campaign, however, was not purely about identifying a winner . It was more about providing every right-thinking Indian a chance to step out of the comfort zone and take on the task of stewarding the nation. It was a clarion call to be the change that we expect in Indian society; an opportunity for citizens to shrug off their indifference and put a shoulder to the wheel.
This is the high time to pay back what we have received from our country. This is not the time to think hindu, muslim, sikh we all have to rise together. Take INDIA as your family and mom, dad, sister, brother as different castes people, your dad or mom THINK OVER IT. We all belongs to different castes but we are indians tell these so called politicians that we are tired of being heard the word RELIGION and stop politics on this.
I urge people to think logically and bring one party with majority so that there are no coalitions b'coz coalitions are only reason for all stupidities. Parties spend their 5 yrs in just fulfilling the demands of their members. what a pity!!!!
Its high time that we,the young generation of INDIA should come out and try to develop a new INDIA....
The actual democracy is not what is functioning in our country. We must have every right to elect our leader not any party. The leader must must have a dream about the country not about his political future.She/he must have a good educational background not any criminal background. There is no point in electing any party when in the end the leader elected by the party president does not fulfill the requirements of the people.
I think the people of INDIA is wise enough to elect such a stable govt and they did so..

"Kamala went back to her Krishnan yaa Allah as she says"

I cannot fold/my wayward limbs to crawl into/coffins of religions./I shall die, I know,/but only when I tire of love;/tire of life and laughter./Then fling me into a pit/six feet by two,/do not bother to leave/any epitaph for me.

These are the 71-year-old Kamala Das's lines in one of her recent poems.
Kamala Das's poems epitomise the dilemma of the modern Indian woman who attempts to free herself, sexually and domestically, from the role bondage sanctioned by the past.

First Madhavi Kutty. Then Kamala Das. Then Kamala Suraiya after she embraced Islam some years ago, inviting the wrath of the conservative Malayali Hindu society. "I fell in love with a Muslim after my husband's death. He was kind and generous in the beginning. But I now feel one shouldn't change one's religion. It is not worth it. Also, I have been accused of being feminist. I am not a feminist, as it is understood. I don't hate men. I feel a woman is most attractive when she surrenders to her man. She is incomplete without a man."Thats wat she told after embracing the Islam relegion..

Summing up her past, she once again becomes the poet of the heart and the soul, complete with the melancholy refrain.

Kamala Das has received many awards for her literary contribution. Some of them are

Kamala Das wrote about a range of topics, often disparate, from the story of poor old servant (Punnayoorkulam) or about the sexual disposition of upper middle class women living near a metropolitan city or in the middle of the ghetto. Some of her better-known stories include Pakshiyude Manam, Neypayasam, Thanuppu, and Chandana Marangal. She wrote a few novels , among which Neermathalam Pootha Kalam, which was received favourably by the reading public as well as the critics, stands out.

She saw Krishnan and Alla as same. After transforming to Islamity she told tht the nly changed occured is tht her Krishnan is being changed to Allah.....
